Payment and cancellation policies

At Hakuna Matata Amazon Lodge, we want to make your booking process as easy as possible. Below are our payment terms:

• Booking Confirmation: To confirm your booking, a 50% payment of the total is required. (Ask about our payment options)

• Pending Payment: The remaining 50% must be paid at the time of your Check-In at the hotel.

• Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, cash payments or credit/debit card payments at the hotel during Check-In.

Cancellation Policies

At Hakuna Matata Amazon Lodge, we understand that unforeseen events can arise and we want to offer you flexible options so you can manage your booking with peace of mind. Below are our cancellation policies:

• No Penalty: If you cancel more than 30 days before your arrival date, you will not be charged any fees. • 25% Penalty: If you cancel between 29 and 16 days before your arrival, 25% of the total amount of your reservation will be charged.

• 50% Penalty: If you cancel between 15 and 8 days before your arrival, 50% of the total amount of your reservation will be charged.

• 100% Penalty: If you cancel less than 7 days in advance or do not show up (no show), 100% of the total amount of your reservation will be charged.

In case of illness: If you are unable to attend due to illness, we offer you the possibility of receiving a 50% refund of the reservation amount, provided that you present a medical certificate.

Natural disasters: In exceptional situations such as road closures, earthquakes or landslides, we will be flexible and allow you to change the dates of your reservation without penalty.
